I teach beginner sewing classes with an emphasis on sustainable sewing.
Upcycling garments and textiles you already have (or you thrift) reduces waste. It’s good for the planet — and also for your wallet!
Build your sewing skills in a welcoming, small group
Be taught by a supportive, patient instructor
Classes take place at theDock - Centre for Social Impact at 722 Cormorant St (near Victoria City Hall).
Subsidy Fund: Make a difference to a fellow sewist! Please consider contributing to Gather & Stitch’s Subsidy Fund. 100% of the money collected reduces the cost of a spot for a sewist who otherwise couldn’t afford to come. (If you require a subsidy, please reach out to me)!
