Cancellation Policy

Gather & Stitch is a one-person business. Last minute cancellations have an impact on revenue, which compromises my ability to run the business and earn a living. As a result, my cancellation policy is fairly restrictive. Please familiarize yourself with it!

Remember Your Bookings
You are responsible for remembering what you’ve signed up for and when it’s taking place! Please make a note of bookings in your calendar at the time you sign up for them. I aim to send reminder emails to participants about one week before an event. Not receiving an email is not grounds for a refund.

Group Classes & Retreats
Customers cancelling a spot in a course or retreat with over one week’s notice will be offered a full refund. Unfortunately, due to the difficulty of filling spots at the last minute, customers cancelling with less than one week’s notice are not eligible for a refund or credit. You are welcome to transfer your spot to someone else, so long as they have the event’s pre-requisites. Get in touch to let me know if you want to do this!

Private Lessons
Customers cancelling a private lesson over 48 hours in advance will receive credit towards a future service. Unfortunately, customers cancelling with less than 48 hours’ notice are not eligible for a refund or credit.

Cancellation of Classes or Retreats
Please note that I reserve the right to cancel a class or retreat up to 48 hours before it is scheduled due to low registration or on the same day due to illness. If I have to cancel a class, you will be offered a full refund.

Scent-Free Policy

Please don’t wear scented products to Gather & Stitch events as I am scent-sensitive. (Other participants may be, too!). Thank you!
