Sewcials
Sewcials are three-hour social sewing sessions. They are an opportunity for experienced sewists to have uninterrupted time to sew together. Join in to celebrate sewing successes as well as solve challenges together!
When? Weekday evenings from 6-9 pm. See dates listed below.
Where? theDock - Centre for Social Impact at 722 Cormorant St (near Victoria City Hall).
What do I bring? A sewing project to work on along with any tools and notions you might need. You can bring your own machine or borrow one of mine.
Subsidy Fund: Make a difference to a fellow sewist! Please consider contributing to Gather & Stitch’s Subsidy Fund. 100% of the money collected reduces the cost of a spot for a sewist who otherwise couldn’t come. If you require a subsidy, reach out to me to let me know!
Would you like some dedicated sewing time? To share some creative energy with other sewists? Join a group of lovely folks for three hours of sewing together!
You will have a dedicated table to sew at as well as use of communal ironing and cutting stations.

Please consider contributing to Gather & Stitch’s Subsidy Fund. 100% of these funds go towards the cost of a Sewcial or Retreat spot for a sewist who otherwise could not afford to come.
