Sewcials

Sewcials are three-hour social sewing sessions. They are an opportunity for experienced sewists to have uninterrupted time to sew together. Join in to celebrate sewing successes as well as solve challenges together!

  • When? Weekday evenings from 6-9 pm. See dates listed below.

  • Where? theDock - Centre for Social Impact at 722 Cormorant St (near Victoria City Hall).

  • What do I bring? A sewing project to work on along with any tools and notions you might need. You can bring your own machine or borrow one of mine.

  • Subsidy Fund: Make a difference to a fellow sewist! Please consider contributing to Gather & Stitch’s Subsidy Fund. 100% of the money collected reduces the cost of a spot for a sewist who otherwise couldn’t come. If you require a subsidy, reach out to me to let me know!
