Come out and sew a cushion cover to personalize your living space!
This is a great project to practice your sewing skills. There are no zippers to sew in or buttonholes to make.
You Will Learn How To:
Use a rotary cutter, ruler and self-healing mat to cut out precise shapes
Sew using a consistent seam allowance/in a straight line
Finish your seams so they doesn’t fray
This Class Is For You If:
You are 16 or older
You can thread your machine, wind a bobbin, select stitches, and sew forward and back. You don’t have to have sewn any projects before.
I Will Provide:
All tools and equipment.
(If you need one) A sewing machine, foot pedal, and empty bobbin.
You Should Bring:
1 meter of quilting cotton or lightweight canvas fabric (this is enough to cover up to a 20” square cushion)
A spool of good quality all-purpose thread in a coordinating colour. (No dollar store or vintage thread, please, as these are liable to break!)
