Sew an oversized scarf to keep you - or a loved one - warm this winter! We will be using the Sugar Quilt Scarf pattern (View A) by Matchy Matchy Sewing Club. This beginner-friendly pattern combines simple garment sewing and quilting. This scarf would make a lovely gift!
You Will Learn How To:
Use a rotary cutter, ruler and mat to easily cut precise shapes
Piece fabric to prevent bulky hard-to-sew seams
Quilt your scarf using the “hand tie” method
This Class Is For You If:
You are 16 or older
You can thread your machine, wind a bobbin, select stitches, and sew forward and back.
I Will Provide:
A printed version of the Sugar Quilt Scarf pattern
A 14 × 72” piece of batting
Embroidery floss in white, cream, or black (if you’d like a different colour, please bring your own)
All tools and equipment.
