Film Screening: Sheep, Actually - Friday, November 20
$20.00

Join Ryan from Knotty By Nature and Kat from Gather & Stitch for a screening of two films about urban sheep and wool in the U.K.!

Sheep, Actually (2025, 64 mins.)

It started with the first photo filmmaker Paul Wyatt ever took: a blurred sheep's nose on a school trip when he was just nine. This lifelong love of animals and a deep-seated curiosity to understand their lives drove Wyatt to make Sheep, Actually.

The film follows Wyatt as he uncovers London’s best-kept woolly secret: sheep living in the capital, the crafters who work with their wool, and a city-dwelling sheep named Cow. At times serious, at others playful, Wyatt’s film is a surprising exploration of where animals, people, and making meet.

Bonus Screening! Fabric of the Land (2018, 22 minutes)

Fabric Of The Land follows designer Ella Doran as she embarks on her most ambitious creative project: creating sustainable products from the wool of sheep that graze at Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

Along the way, Ella meets fellow designers, innovators, and manufacturers, including designer Julian Mayor, British Wool, Haworth Scouring, and Camira Fabrics. Viewers are taken on a captivating journey through wool production, from shearing to spinning to product design, while emphasising wool’s sustainable qualities and eco-friendly design.
