Make a simple, whole cloth (non-pieced) quilt in a single day! This would make a lovely gift! You’re welcome to make your quilt in either a holiday fabric or any print that you like!
You Will Learn How To:
Use a rotary cutter, ruler and mat
How to create a quilt sandwich and stitch it together
How to bind a quilt
This Class Is For You If:
You are 16 or older
You can thread your machine, wind a bobbin, select stitches, and sew a straight line.
You Need To Bring:
1.5 meters of two quilting cottons (one for the quilt top, one for the backing)
Throw sized batting (minimum size 1.5 meters/60” by 1.15 meters/45”)
½ meter of quilting cotton for binding
Two spools of thread: one that either contrasts or blends with your fabrics for the decorative stitching AND one that blends with your binding fabric
